Believe it or not, India developers now have made an iPad-like laptop selling at just the price of $35. Features of it includes :
- Linux OS
- Touch-screen
- 2GB RAM
- Memory card instead of hard disk
- Wi-Fi
- USB ports
- Runs either on battery power or solar power
- Weighs 1.5kg
It was hoped that this laptop would benefit students throughout schools in the country with 500 Youtube-based courses already available online. Government are also trying to reduce the current price till $10.
Disadvantage is that the laptop contains games which might conflict with the purpose of implementation of the laptop in schools. So, what do you think of this laptop?
