Pretty darn annoying when you can't log into your Live Messenger, right? Well, I share the same empathy as you. So here's a suggested solution to the question asked : error 800706BA when logging in. The steps should have been simplified ENOUGH for you to understand. Plus, I added pics for every steps.

Steps :
- Go to "Start Menu" > "Run"
- Type 'services.msc' then "Enter"/"OK"
- Find "DCOM Process Server Launcher" & Double-Click it
- Change "Startup Type" to "Automatic", then "Start" the service if it's not already ...& done!
If there is a problem with this solution, please report, along with your own suggestions if any.
UPDATE(S):
- Another way around this is to uninstall Messenger Live, then reinstall. Official download link is here.
